Employment direction

  • Continue with graduate/postgraduate programs; 90% of students are accepted into national research institutes

  • Obtain technical license as a civil engineer, structural engineer, geotechnical engineer, hydraulic engineer, or transportation engineer; thereafter start an engineering office or engineering consulting firm, or secure employment as a certified technician in a manufacturing factory

  • Obtain public service qualifications by participating in civil service examinations or related specialization examinations; thereafter secure employment as a public servant

  • Secure employment in private companies as a researcher or developer; or alternatively secure employment as an engineer for a construction, building, or consulting firm, specializing in engineering planning, design, measurement, and supervision

 

Graduate Pathways

  • Continue with a postgraduate program

Postgraduate Pathways

  • Serve as a post-graduate researcher or secure a teaching position; alternatively, secure a position as a researcher or developer in a company

  • Obtain technical license (civil engineer, structural engineer, geotechnical engineer, hydraulic engineer, or transportation engineer)

  • Obtain public service qualifications and secure employment in government-owned companies

  • Secure employment as a senior engineer or manager of a construction, building, or consulting firm
